Color calibration

Measurement or adjustment of the color response of a device, either input or output that aims to get the best results from standard colors available. Calibrated device generally known as a calibration source.

General form in computing is the use of calibration on the monitor, scanner, and printer. The goal is to produce images that are identical duplication in color saturation, compared to the original file on the display monitor.
