ASUS before this has issued a device that focuses on zoom capabilities, accelerating the ASUS Zenfone Zoom with 3x zoom capability. Such endeavors require a slightly thicker camera design, bringing ASUS to switch to optical zoom imaging solutions that better meet the needs of the marketplace. With the increasingly booming dual-camera trend, ASUS brings together the techniques that come with the iPhone 7 Plus, providing optical zoom of 2.3x.
ASUS Zenfone 3 Zoom has also shifted to the use of Snapdragon chips after Intel-based chips are no longer focused for use on smart phones. It has few issues, mainly involving achievements and compatibility due to architectural differences in the processing chip. So with the use of this Snapdragon chip, it offers a more worthy feat of achievement in addition to providing power delivery through 14nm chips.
At a price of RM2099, it creates a variety of reactions when judged in terms of its specification. It comes with a 5.5-inch AMD-based screen, Snapdragon 625 processing chip, 4GB RAM memory, and 64GB internal strokes. But with dual-camera inclusion with this optical zoom capability, the price may be something to consider when judged from the point of depiction.
